GSi Free Vibes is a physical modeling emulation of a Vibraphone.

This instrument accurately replicates the sound and behavior of a Vibraphone through real-time sound generation using advanced mathematical calculations, avoiding the use of sampled material.

The PRO Version unlocks additional parameters for enhanced control:

 <li>Authentic Tremolo effect that preserves attack transients</li>
 <li>Harmonic manipulation parameters for detailed sound crafting</li>
 <li>Decay parameters for short and long notes customization</li>
 <li>Ambience and Microphone settings adjustment</li>
 <li>Mute Below Velocity function to manage note muting based on velocity levels</li>
 <li>Extended integrated user manual for comprehensive guidance</li>
</ul>

PLEASE NOTE: The in-app purchase (IAP) is entirely optional, offering additional features without restricting the core instrument.

Usage:

The interface displays a classic 3-octave Vibraphone layout, though the sound engine supports up to 4 octaves spanning Midi notes #48 to #96.

To play a bar, touch it—lower touches correspond to higher velocities. Activate the sustain pedal by tapping the icon at the bottom right.

Parameters include:

<ul>
 <li>MODE: Select between Keyboard Mode for sustained sound or Mallet Mode for immediate stop on key release.</li>
 <li>MALLET HARDNESS: Adjust mallet hardness from soft to hard, impacting attack and instrument's response to velocity.</li>
</ul>

The Settings page offers two options:

<ul>
 <li>Tuning: Default at A=440 Hz, adjustable from 430 to 450 Hz.</li>
 <li>Midi Channel: Default setting is OMNI; however, customizable to receive on a specific channel.</li>
</ul>
